I am compelled to make and exist in the world by the unknown power of the ripples we all create. With such power comes great responsibility, therefore my work is grounded in what comes most naturally to me: love. I believe in the ability of the arts to invigorate, enlighten, teach and heal, and I see hope as the necessary basis for all change. I am interested in creating ways for the arts to enrich our connection to ourselves, each other and the world around us. Through various forms, including dancing, story sharing and relationship building, I make this happen in schools, outdoor areas, care facilities, community organizations and art spaces.

New experiences, family, personal narratives, the vibrancy of and connection between world cultures, joy and rhythm are themes and inspirations for my work. I foster connections by way of empathy and patience, advocate for the relevance of the arts in people’s lives today, and make dance and the arts a more equitable and accessible experience. I have done this through independent and collective work with such organizations as Benkadi Drum and Dance, Peter DiMuro/Public Displays of Motion, Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Emerson and Endicott Colleges, and The Dance Complex.

Empathetic and engaging, I am a natural collaborator. Whether creating with my own family members or strangers, I embrace learning, making and connecting with others through progressive, inclusive practices and shared experiences. The authentic and relatable nature of my work sparks emotion, thought and introspection, and ultimately, the connection of people and ideas -- the kinds of ripples that are worth making.
